Do they work?

If what your asking is "do DARPs reduce the number of drug abusers" I can't say they do. The question comes back to why people want to do something they find pleasurable for whatever reason when the government says "you can't do that"?

Why did the vast majority of people during "Prohibition" still have a little bottle of illegal boozes around for "medicinal" purposes? (So how did Papa Joe Kennedy get all that money during Prohibition anyway?)

The reason, the majority of people in this country did not believe the government has their best interests in mind. So they do what ever they want to and hope the they are not the ones that get caught with their pants down, so to speak.

It's no different today, think about it. Do you really trust the government? If you do, I have to say you are one blind sucker and you probably think that the government can decide what's best for your life, better than you can.

With all the scandals in the federal, state, and local governments, I have learned to trust the "government" to do what is best for the government not me, or the people of this great land, and I pray every day that that will change.
